About the role…

Reporting to the General Manager Client Services, the Clinical Lead is responsible for overseeing and supporting the clinical operations of the care and clinical services provided by Care Connect. This role ensures that all care delivery meets the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance, supporting both clinical staff and clients to optimise health outcomes.

Adopting both a strategic and ‘hands-on’ approach, the Clinical Lead will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain excellence in person-centred care, lead clinical and non-clinical staff development, and ensure adherence to best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.

This position can be based at either our Abbotsford, Vic or Bella Vista, NSW sites.

About You

An experienced & qualified clinical leader with demonstrated success in delivering outstanding care outcomes in aged, community or primary health care, you will work well with ambiguity at both strategic and operational levels.

You will bring extensive knowledge of the community and aged care regulatory and funding environment and possess the ability to implement well-planned and effective improvement initiatives across multiple teams, roles and states.

An authentic and highly collaborative leader, your innovative yet pragmatic leadership approach, effective interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities will help you make a success of this role. You will also have familiarity with industrial instruments that relate to the clinical workforce, along with excellent computer literacy and time management skills.

Candidates will be required to hold a Bachelor of Nursing, with five or more years’ experience preferred, and current APHRA Registration. Post Graduate qualifications in gerontology, palliative care, dementia care or similar area, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Master’s degree in Nursing and/or advanced clinical certifications will be highly regarded.                                                                                                                                              Some interstate travel and a current drivers licence will be required.

To be considered for this role you must have full Australian working rights, current Police & Working With Children Checks – we can arrange police checks for successful candidates. Our selection process also includes psychometric assessment.
